    Have you seen the stand calculator thread by 'rocketEngineer'?

    Well built, more than enough stength.

    I agree that most stands are thinner and pneumatic staples. My current 125g stand is
    1x4's on end, with just the right amount of bracing, etc.
    It only supports the tank on the ends and in the middle.

    Have you seen my 180 stand build thread?
