    What?!?!?! You got such a killer deal! considering they go for 999 online! Plus the bulbs! I am truly jealous, :eek:.

    And I have mine over a 75gallon mixed reef

    Tomorrow is day 4, going to bump the halides up to 2 hours. Gettin there, slowly but surely.

    Before the new fixture I knew there were corals I couldn't keep. Since I upgraded do you think hat I still have restrictions. Is I possible to keep sps now. Would I have to keep them directly under the halides?

    The Phoenix 14K is one of my all time favorite bulbs! You get great growth and coloration!

    Yea I do like these bulbs. The colors are amazing. Like I've never seen in my tank before.

    So you don't think I'll have any problem keeping sps?

    No Dan, no problem.

    I kept and grew SPS with my original Power Compacts I got when I bought my used stuff to start my current DT and hobby.

    What did you go from and to again- lighting wise?

    I went from 4- t5 to 4 t5 + 2-150w mh fixture. About 8" from waterline.
