I'll also add an update on the algae issue I was experiencing:

There has not been a single cell of hair alage return to my tank since I scrubbed it. Nutrients seem to have been balanced out. Also, looking at the picture above, the Acropora valida and the montipora to the left have grown a bunch over the last month.

I'm going led eventually, looking at the radion fixtures. Bulbs are getting hard to find, radium 150 DE are discontinued so I just ordered a set of XM 20k but these are the last set I'm ordering. You can't go wrong with ATI. You might miss the shimmer but as far as growth and color, your set kevin. Looking forward to seeing the tank in a few months.

I'm really interested in hearing about the algae issue and what you did to resolve it. Also would love to see updated pic of the tank with the new lights!

I probably will eventually, but only when it's my only option. Even then, I will mix in T5.

Not ready to let go of halide. I sold my ATI and bought a Gieseman infiniti!

I painstakingly removed each and every piece of rock and scrubbed every inch with a tooth brush. The biggest tool in removal was the hydrogen peroxide. The rocks and algae were squirted and scrubbed before a few RODI rinses. I would use tank water to do this next time (water change water). It was a choir, but effective.

actually sold the lights and bought the Giesemann Infiniti, so I'll have to wait for it to arrive.

It's here and installed. Thus is one impressive light. So crisp. The tank looks worlds better.

That's one nice looking light fixture, congrats kevin. If I was staying with halide then that would be the fixture of choice. Tank is looking great man.
