Looking good kevin. I like that red mushroom rock and how the Monti and acro are going together

Thanks. I've had all of those for 3-4 years. The acro started as a 1" frag mounted horizontally and that Monti was a 1.5 x 1/5 inch frag.

I started the mushroom rock from 2 mushrooms.

That's awesome. I like looking back at photos from a couple years back to see the growth progress

As a Christmas present to myself, I am upgrading my lighting system.

Last week I bought 2 400-watt 10,000 K XM bulbs, which research has shown are the second highest PAR rated bulbs on the market.

I just bought 2 Coralvue Lumenbrite Mini metal halide reflectors.

I am adding 4 Giesseman parabolic T-5 reflectors to pair with 2 ATI Blue Plus and 2 ATI Coral Plus bulbs.

Since the 10000K bulbs tend to be very bright white, boarding a yellow tint, I plan on only running the halides when I am not home.I only plan on running the halides for 5-6 hours a day, probably between 12 and 5/6 pm. The other time will be lit by the 4 T-5 bulbs, running from 8-12 and from 5/6-9/10 during viewing hours.

Scrapped the halides and T5 retrofit and issues upon issues.

I now own an 8-bulb ATI Dimmable Sunpower!

I know, I will probably regret it lol. I tried scoring a Giesmann Infinity HQI/ T5, but the seller backed out. I decided to go with T5 instead. Halide bulbs are becoming tough to find and I have to imagine it will get tougher and tougher.

The PAR on these ATI fixtures is absurd, so I shouldn't lose much light, if any.

    I plan on running:

    4 Blue +
    2 Coral Plus
    1 GE 6500K
    1 Purple Plus
