    I hear ya... honestly it probably would be nice with a sandbed.. but I cannot keep it clean enough.. the amount of crap I siphon out on a weekly basis amazes me.... I love the ease of the BB and this is a good compromise IMO

    Latest FTS... water was a little cloudy as my snails had a spawning event....

    Just realized the pic didn't post.. water cloudy from snails haha..

    As for no3 and po3.. I don't test em.. I would guess they are relatively low with the barebottom and weekly cleaning etc, filter sock, and big skimmer.. although I do feed pretty heavily and have a decent bioload
