I just hooked up two 10w led chips to two drivers over a small frag tank.

    The driver states the following.

    Driver Quantity: 1pcs (waterproof)
    Input Voltage: AC100V-240V
    Output Voltage: 6V-11V
    Output Current:900mA
    Working temperature: 0-75℃

The specs on the chips were.

    Forward Voltage: 9-11V 900MA
    Led Arrangement:
    Top row: 450nm; 10,000K; 460nm
    Mid row: 10,000K; 7000K; 10,000K
    Low row:460nm; 10,000K; 450nm

It is working fine and looks okay but I am trying to figure out why the driver would have a range of output from 6-11v. Am I running the chips at 11v? I would have thought the driver voltage output would not fluctuate. Can someone educate me?

    Thanks

    Paul
