    i dont know if you have a refugium set up, but the best way to to introduce pods is to buy chaeto. comes with loads of pods plus the benefit of removing nutrients.

    when buying pods most of what you get are already dead

    Yea true alot of them probably came from the cheato I bought for my refugium.:)

    yea no refugium for me, i'd just be dumping them in the tank after lights out, something ive been wanting to buy for a while, but havent done it yet

    congrats on a good healthy pod population. mine are all over my refugium but i don't see that many in my DT. good job.

    my tank was like that after the first few weeks, now i dont really see them, but i got hydroids now. they also seem to be decreasing in numbers.

    By the way puffer, if you do end up buying pods make sure you dont get "tigger pods" they charge like 15$ a bottle and they are cold water species, I got conned into buying them when I had a scooter blenny. Within 1 week they were all gone and I was really mad. just some friendly advice hope this helps. ;)

    good to know. i had no idea there was such thing as tigger pods. i was thinking about getting the ones from reefcleaners

    Is it possible to raise tigger pods in a colder environment (no heater) then putthw in the DT tank for occasional feeding?
