Got the 5 stage RODI unit all set up and I got my IO salt from BRS so I'm going to make up a 10 gal batch and see how it goes. Reading 1 tds on the input side and 0 on the output.

Thank you. I fell in love with the open concept during my freshwater years and the wife and I felt this was a good compromise between my space for corals and plenty of room for the fish she wanted.

Thank you. It's definitely coming along. Nice to finally have it filled and running on its own after all the work we did on it before getting it wet.

Been a while since I've given an update. Caught 3 of the 4 remaining chromis but the bully remains. He's actually stopped being aggressive and has been "schooling" with the clowns. Kind of comical actually, they all sleep together in a corner haha.

Did a parameters check before feeding today.

    Temp- 77.6 (apex)
    Ph- 8.25 (apex)
    Ammonia - 0 (api)
    Nitrates - 0 (api)
    Nitrites - 0 (api)
    Calc - 450 (salifert)
    Mag - 1380 (salifert)
    Alk - 9.3 dkh (salifert)
    Phos - 0 (salifert)

Been getting some good growth on my cali tort, birdsnest and birds of paradise and the frogspawn and torch are all doing great with these Buildmyled fixtures.

So the tank is coming along nicely. Reduced my feeding some due to a cyano outbreak and took a little more care with the rodi rinse before feeding.

Picked up a new diamond watchman goby from Rift2Reef. Was looking at a smaller one but was told this one was already eating frozen so I got him. Not even 2 hours after being in the tank and I fed my usual mysis and he came right out of his cave and ate with the others. Great sign. I also picked up a frag of their green birdsnest while I was there and some reef energy A and B so we'll see how the tank reacts to that as well.

Taken after he'd been in the tank for about 15 minutes. He went straight to the corner and started digging his home out.

I found the same aquarium on Craigslist. If you don't mind, how much did you pay for yours? I really like your setup and want to do the exact same thing.
