    Can someone tell me off the top of their head what the dimensions of a standard ten gallon aquarium are?

    if you are looking into getting one, i would upgrade to a 14. I did that for my reef. it is the same dimensions but a few inches taller. it gives you some space for extra water and rock walls. it also will give you more balance because of more water being there. so if water evaporates, it won't affect it as much.
