ive never heard of anyone using a cannister in their sump. i put the carbon in a sock directly into the sump.

thats normal itll take a lil while for the water to clear mine took close to 2-3 days to fully be clear again

yea you will always need a certain wattage to grow corals and 6 watts wont be enough no matter how big the tank
