the color is grey-ish white. not green
the parameters are stable... maybe just high nitrates. but i've had him in this tank for over a year with high nitrates, and he's been fine.
my ribbon eel looks horrible, looks like he will be dying soon. he has some discoloration towards the end of his body, kind of looks like see...

ok so my lights on my DT in the summer get hot enough to push my temp> in the tank to 80-84 F. so one day i put my small room fan by the side opening...

well you see, if i dont have any flow in their, all the detrius settles on the macro, and it starts to die. or what would you recomend i do?
have you actually used this method? has it worked for you?
BTW, how old is your fuge? its about 9-10 months, a little less older than my DT, its been up for a year this month :)
