Should be fine for most things. What types of corals and anemones are you planning on using? You may want to consider going to 10 to 14k.
Home depot also sells play sand and it is what I used for a 200 gallon. It is working out great!

Manny I would just keep a close eye on him. Some crabs can be a problem but I am not sure what that little guy might be.

Hey Vibe another option is to feed your fish with the heads on for a moment and that will give you a good visual on how your tank is moving water...

I have a 30 gallon tall with compact (10,000K + actinic = 65watts) + 15 watt 20,000k total of 80 watts. Hope that helps. Cheers!
