Also, try to keep your camera straight onto the glass as much as possible. This will lessen the distortion that you could get.

On my Droid Razr M, I drop the exposure all the way down. I can usually get better actinic pics this way vs. my DSLR. Here is one example (not the best example either; they come out better when the subject is closer):

Tried it with just my bluer channel on- couldn't get it to work on my IPhone4.
