    its t5 then. so yes you should be ok with a clam. i would start out with a dersa or a golden maxima(been trying to find one of these for a while. good luck). those are the two least ligth required.

    If this is the case, it sounds more like compact flourescents rather then T5s. T5s don't come in 65w bulbs, Pcs do.

    i also have whites but i couldnt find the box for those so now are you saying that i cant get a clam?

    a clam will be hard to keep under CF lighting. I have had CF when first starting out and I have been able to keep some dull brown colored montipora under CF but would never try a clam as I feel it is not possible :(
