super actinic uvl bulb

    I got this bulb today and installed it. I turned it on and it looked like a fant white color. Is this normal. I thought it would be a blue color. Thanks

    You must have a 420nm bulb. If you get a 460nm it will be a lot bluer and brighter.

    Yea I got the 420nm. I also have a aquaticlife 420/460nm. Which would be better? It is a combo with 2 ATI blue plus and a fiji purple

    I prefer a combo first, 420nm second and 460nm last. I switched to 460nm leds and it's too much blue compared to the 420nm T5s I had. A mix of both is the best way to go in my opinion.
