Those are nice numbers Seano...just maintain those :) (easier said than done, I know).

What's your salinity and what tool do you measure it with? If using a refractometer, when was the last time it was calibrated? Just a suggestion for one of the little things that are often overlooked.

I just re-calibrated this morning and it says 1.0265 on the refractometer.

nice, good for you, I seriously need a new bag of salt, and preferably one that has smaller individual bags and not all clumped up like my current bag :-/

    Thanks, Ben.

Despite my water parameters, I am still getting tissue necrosis on some of my corals. I am going to test again this evening.

This favite's been fading away the past few weeks. I'm afraid I've waited too long and won't be able to save the eyes that are left.

This is a bali green slimer. I got it about 2 months ago. It was doing great until about a week or so ago. I am going to frag off the bottom tissue and re-glue it to the plug. Anyone have any idea why some of the tissue is pink? I have it on the rock under the middle of one of the par30s, where it's always been.

Man, I'm no good at coral disease's. I hate to hear about your troubles though. Hopefully you can get it all figured out here soon.

I'm no good with diseases either.

It almost looks like just a color morph...when I took the slimer out of the tank to frag it, the frag was brown (like it would look normally). But as far as the florescence, the green seems to be morphing to pink...

I'm just throwing ideas out there to check on. Do you test for phosphates?

Last time I test, I had undetectable levels of NO3 and PO4. But I am now getting some soft brown tufts of algae on rocks which means I have a source of phosphates. You can kind of sea the algae I am talking about, on the bottom of the frag plug (see above photo).

I didn't test tonight, so I will do so tomorrow.

And what do you feed your tank?
