    damn I just lost my marble star he was inside a rock damn was he hell to get out.I think one of the blue tangs chewed on one of his arms to.

    You should of left him in there and let the cleaner pack have a nice lunch. How old is your tank? I think it would of been worse to remove rock just to remove the star itself. You'll kick up a lot of detritus that way. :-/

    If theres enough detritus to stir then theres already a problem....but then again..having enough critters to devour an entire starfish is usually to in a 55.....:confused:

    well as of being this ealry I dont trust my tank enough right now to let a whole starfish get taken care of
