So i have had this rock in my tanks for over a year now... and apparently this week it decided to sprout 4 different kinds of macros at the same time! very odd if you ask me!

So the types are halimeda, some type of brown very hard encrusting one, codium, and another one that looks like a "saw" but it has runners so I am a little concerned with it. I just want to make sure its not a type of calupera so if you know anything I would appreciate it.

as they are all so small it was quite hard to get a pic but heres the best i can do so far:

it can be seen on the right in the middle and down low in the corner.

I am fairly certain it is some type of caulerpa just because it looks to be soft tissued and because it has runners like other caulerpas

The saw one is a Caulerpa species. Not sure about the brown one.

Not all species of caulerpa are invasive. Razor, which is C. Serrulata, is not the invasive type.
