Clownfish is Malnourished :(

    Woke up this morning to find him dead at the bottom of the tank :(

    Looks like i'm gonna have to replace him, the other Clown is looking a bit depressed lol.

    Smaller? Wouldn't that cause the existing one to bully the new one? I always thought especially with clowns that if adding a new one, it should be a similar size?

    Getting a smaller one won't be a territorial threat to the established one, if I'm not mistaken. You usually get a smaller one to avoid the chance of having two females battle for territory.

    Got a new one today, he's a little smaller than my current one...it's amasing how quickly they grow!

    Now the battle begins. The smaller one will most likely turn out to be the male. The larger one will remain female. Get ready for a dominance struggle. Don't get worried if they tear at each other a bit. It is normal. At the end of it, you will end up with a mated pair.

    Actually now that i've got him in the tank he doesn't look that much smaller. Looked a lot smaller in the bag lol.

    He's still a little smaller than the other one. He also isn't quite as colourful as my original Clown, i'm sure he will perk up a bit when he settles in and I feed him more.
