Biocube sump?

What kind of overflow do you have? Any baffles?

 

I built the overflow. (less then 15 dollars). No baffles, just a critter crate that the return pump goes in to keep junk out. I didn't use baffles since I do not use a skimmer, and I am ok with the chaeto free floating around. No bubbles produced.

 

Awesome! Do you have a link to the DIY overflow? Lol sorry, just a little exited. If I do it I'll probably do a 20H like you and just put a 5 gallon tank in the middle for the fuge.

 

Here is a picture I was able to find on another forum but no design plans.
It is sometimes referred to as a PVC "W" overflow design. When I built it I did not use any specific dimensions or anything that someone had laid out I made all my own measurements and If you need I can measure my design which fits into the 3rd chamber of the biocube hqi.
