Yes it would. It would remove the nutrients which are feeding your dino.

slowly though, the dinos are more efficient at getting nutrients compared to filamentous algae. so basically if there is enough nutrients to run the ATS, then the dinos will be just fine. I would try to starve it of iron, and raise your alk.

starve it of iron. are you sure it is dinos and not diatoms? If it is dinos, then you can starve it of iron by growing algae, (like on your ats), and not doing water changes until it goes away. Your mixed salt has iron, and that will contribute to the dino problem. (Although water changes are a very good thing for your tank 99.9% of the time). You will also want to raise your alk. Do it slowly, making sure other affected parameters stay in check, (mag, cal, and ph), and raise it to 4.5 meq/l

very slowly and very carefully. :)

No really though. Start here and keep reading:
    Chemistry and the Aquarium

Alk/Cal/Mag/Ph effect each other to a degree, and you should keep an eye on all of them ideally. And just remember, slow and steady is the way to do it. Better to have stability in a tank, then to dose to hit a number.
