Default WhooHoo....New fish!

New tank addition always fires up my bi-polar tendencies.

Don't know how many times I have said to self...enough, no more fish!!!!

But it must be some kind of sickness.

Have to just stop going to LFS period. Can't seem to go there without something following me home. ---- He just just keeps getting in new pretty creatures I have never seen before and seems to charge so little for them.

(Getting close to time for larger tank...)

Dragon Goby, (Amblygobius phalaena)

aka: Brownbarred Goby, Pennant Glider, Harbor Goby, Pistol Goby, Phalaena Goby

Settled into tank like he had been there forever. No hiding or concern for other fish, which did not give it a second glance. Started "sand-sifting" within minutes. Must have been hungry.

(Usual tank "bullies" paying no attention to --- seems they know not to mess with)

12 Gallon NanoCube - 24w stock PC 50/50 light

Sweet addition and I'm the same way, once you walk into the LFS you end up leaving with a light wallet and something in your hand.
Props to you, it looks great

I was under the impression that this was a dragon wrasse.(rockmover). I was starting to get jealous reading your thread before I got to the pictures OmarD. My 3 favorite wrasses: Dragon, six-line, leopard. Yours looks like a goby.

You are right!!!!

Guess there are different "Dragon Gobies"....LFS as confused as me...oh well.

(They do look similar)

Actually way happier it is the Dragon Goby...does not carry the bad rep that the wrasse does with inverts...crabs, shrimp etc...whew, dodged that worry.

Yep...seems I got overcharged. Paid $25, while Marine Center lists price at 14.99. Usually LFS charges way less then on web. Will talk to owner. He will give some credit. Always has. Not so smart employee (and not so smart customer)...
