Personal experiences with wrasses...

Six Line Wrasse

(Pseudocheilinus hexataenia)

quick/busy/fun to watch little fish. "Cheap" - great addition to any tank. Gets along with other wrasses and tankmates - at least in my tank. (apparently not always so in others... )

Hawaiian Flame Wrasse
(Cirrhilabrus jordani)

Calm/Regal/Easy going fish. "Expensive!" -- Very sensitive to wide temperature changes...is how I lost mine.

Yellow Tail Coris Wrasse
(Coris gaimardi)

Very busy fish, like Sixline. Voracious eater. Like to turn things over looking for good things to eat. Not aggressive to other fish. But very strong willed if other fish wants to mess with it. "Relatively Cheap" ($30 - at my LFS)





All have been awesome standouts in tank. Usually first fish commented on by visitor.

Lots of neat ones to choose from...

Will always have a wrasse or two in my tank. Wish I had room for more.

You might think so, 6 lines on each side=12

But actually the 12 line is a completely different fish...

As for 12 line? maybee the 4 line is less confusing
