This is my 10 gallon Nano reef. I started with this and shortly after decided I wanted more so I started the 16.
This tank has been up since the end of July 07. Eventually I hope to have a 30 gallon going and then I plan on using this one as a quarantine tank.

    Look'n good.

Just so you know the second to last pic. those are hydroids a common reef pest.
they have the ability to sting other corals and can reproduce quickly.

    Thank you all,

Yea I just recently found that out, I am watching them close. Figure if I see them spreading
beyond the rock they are on now I will scrape them off as I find them. they look kinda neat
    waving in the breeze.

I set this tank up first just to cure my rock for the other tank while I gathered up the stuff
for my other one. I was going to convert this tank into a quarantine tank once my 16 was up
and running. But after I moved most all the rock over to the 16 a couple of months ago this
tank looked a bit forlorn so I had to go out and buy more rock for it.

Problem with that is now I know I have have MTS (Multiple tank syndrome) because I am
looking for another tank to set up as a quarantine tank! And as we all have found out MTS
can be really expensive to treat! :biglaugh:

Also have several "patches" of them in my tank. Don't seem to bother my soft corals at all. I have zoa's that live right among them.

They stay pretty localized in colonies on a couple of rocks and have not shown much interest in spreading throughout tank.

Any spreading has been to overflows where there is little competition with anything else.

I kind of like the looks of them also (as long as they stay under control)...

FYI, have seen my Red Legged hermits "mowing" them periodically.
