Default A monster is in the works!!!

I've decided to abandon multiple prop tanks and go for a monster display/prop system.

Dimesions are:

84" x 48" x 24" 410ish gallons

Center overflow w/2 returns

4 corner returns

Looking for input on lighting? I'm thinking T-5 & MH pendants...

I will need to upgrade some stuff so I will have a 1/4 HP Artica Chiller for sale. As well a my prop tank. Acrylic 60" x 22" x 12" w/ overflow I can send pics for those interested. I will have a 48" giesman fixture 2-150 MH plus Actinics. A hamilton 24" fixture w/ 1 175w MH plus actinincs.

I also have a 125gallon tank with a divider down the center & a cpr 192 wet dry.

PM if interested.

Any comments/input would be appreciated

Oh great your just trying to one up me LOL

Check out Pacific Garden supplies for your reflectors. The Luminarc 3 or mini 3 can be suspended much higher than a spider or other and gives the best light reflection. I have 3 to set up next week and OMG they look amazing. Also Customer service Rocks.

I just need more room for all my crazy corals!!

Here's a sketch of what I'm thinking.
Teal Dots = Returns

As far as flow, here is what I have in mind. A Sequence Dart (2800 gph) on the two center lines with appropriate t's to feed a calcium/phosban/carbon reactors. On the four corner ones a Sequence Hammerhead (5500 gph) powering all. I could go with a dolphin for higher flow if anyone thinks this won't be enough? Also I could go with four center returns & 2 Hammerheads?

Jason I'm a dealer for Sunlight supply so I'm headed that way, what's your theory on T-5's? I've see a lot of people going all T-5 w/ no MH and keeping amazig SPS as well as LPS.

Well I did...

470ish gallons. 7'x4.5'x2' I wanted 5' wide but after making a frame out of 2x4's realized I only had 1-2" of play to get this thing down the stairs (Only 5!!!) so I backed down to 4.5' wide.

This monster is being made out of 1-1/4 acrylic and has a 4" wide eurobrace.

6-10 week delivery
