I've been wanting to upgrade to a 180, from my 125 for a while now.
But as I started this hobby on a CL buy, I had to wait for a GREAT deal on one to be able to afford it.
Today was the day! I was lucky enough to have been browsing my regional clubs site www.wireefsociety.com, and happened to see this!:

It was just what I was looking for!
Virtually no scratches, looks as good as new!
I'l probably put in another bulkhead and a coast to coast overflow, but it already has 2 x 1.5in. bulkheads.

    $200!
My 125 is doing well, so I'll build a stand first, then work on the overflow-no more siphon style ;-(.

So much work to do now!!

Your patience paid off! I was just in the market for one and ended up with a 250 instead. Are you going to get another tao to light it up?

i run a coast to coast with two bulkheads. modified bean animal. A primary with a gate valve and a secondary with an airline on it to convert to full siphon if the water level rises. I feel no need for the third redundant fail-safe that bean animal recommends. And I know a few others who feel the same way. This would save you from drilling another hole. Buts its up to you. Nice find BTW!

I may start budgeting for some similar lights as mine, with a few more colors, and dimmers! And yes, I'd like to run three of them on the new 180.

Ya know, I have researched the Bean, and a few others in anticipation on my current predicament.
I feel your advise is very good, and may end up taking your advice, a bit too early to tell, but I'm already thinking about going with just the two.
They are BIG bulkheads! I'm sure they would flow plenty!

Thanks to all the comments thus far.

While I feel I cna build a more than adequate stand, I'm already looking over stand build again to get some preliminary plans in my head.
One change is it will be a little bit taller than my current stand too.
