    blenny was dead this morning.

figured i'd let the crabs go at it and then cut it up tonight and feed it to the various corals (it's what i do when a fish dies).

got home, already taken care of! here are a few from before I left and the rest are when I got home.

so, on to pics and showing off my cleanup

at this point, it was a toss up to what coral was going to get it first

Sorry for the loss of the blenny.

Cool to see nature in action with the remains, at least he had a good send off

That anemone didn't eat the entire blenny did it? Looks like an awful big mouthful. What kind of nem is that anyway? Sorry to hear about your lose.

We had a lawnmower blenny and we woke up yesterday and our blue leg hermit crabs were eating his face. We took out their fun.

some form of rock or flower anemone from the Gulf of Mexico. They're awesome. I have 3. They don't spread at all. I've had them for over a year now.

After quite some time, the anemone spat the fish out. The fish's tail half was a very nice looking skeleton actually. Then the crabs grabbed it. Then I went to bed.

This morning there is exactly 1/2 blenny in the tank. I'm going to pull it out in a little bit, cut it up a bit more and give it to the rest of my corals.

totally awesome. I'll take pics when I feed it to the other critters.
