We were originally working on the 300g but have switched gears to work on the 210g which will be a room divider between the TV room and dining area cubby thingy.

    An artist I'm not.......

The wall that is already there is actually going to stay there. We have plans for the ledge :)

Not exactly sure what the plumbing will be for this. It's going to be our first divider tank. We don't use powerheads, so flow is going to be a challenge. We're thinking of running the plumbing outside and build a little "tank house" out there.

Without running powerheads are you thinking of doing a closed loop? One of my local club members is doing a 150 DD as a room divider and he is using the CL idea so that he doesnt have powerheads visible.

Great place to have a room divider tank! Subscribed and will be anxious to see this take shape.

Yes, closed loop. We have them on all or other tanks, but they have back walls.... I guess we'll be coming up through the bottom.

The internal overflow will be in the right back corner along that piece of wall to the right, but not so it touches the front viewing panel.

I'm making my own door knobs and this is one of them.... it's a Palau coin.

Will the tank be built in? That would be neat. I mean just hang dry wall around the fran & extent the floor trim along it.

For plumbing, it sounds like a closed loop in in for you.

A surge device may be something to look into if you build the room. Otherwise you can plumb your returns below your substrate and pop up at the bottom/opposite end. Use a stronger pump and some shut-offs.

subscribed. I am doing something nearly identical. WAs looking at a 210 but maybe a 240. Still unsure, the 8 foot might be just too long
