After careful consideration based on space, time and money constraints, I have decided my next system with be a 20 gallon long BTA and Ocellaris clown tank. The 40B systems I suggested earlier will be simply too much to handle in my last semester of university studies. Work on this project will begin at the start of June!

    Equipment:

    20G long, drilled
    AquaC Urchin Skimmer
    Magdrive Return pump
    2X vortech mp10WES
    10G sump

    Livestock:

20lbs LR (5 in display, 15 in sump)
    Multiple Bubble Tip Anemones
    Pair of Ocellaris Clowns
    Serpent Starfish
Snails for CUC (dwarf cerith, nerite, trochus)
    Chaetomorpha
    Flame Algae

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Honestly I have never run a skimmer on tanks that I kept anemones in.

This one turned into a BTA farm. You'll notice LPS and some Sps. T5 lighting.

Same here, no skimmer and PC lighting.

I am hesitant to put perching fish like Blennies or bottom fish like Gobies/Mandarins in anemone tanks.

    Hope that helps. :)
