I finally found the time to sand & paint the DIY stand that I picked up on craigslist.

I had a buddy help me put the tank on the stand so I could see how my measurements for the holes worked out. 1 of 4 was off by 1/8" inch. So, I cut all four bigger because it turns out that I was not going to be able to get my fingers on the nut for the bulkheads.

looking good, subscribed. sorry to hear about the skimmer, i hope you can still use it and i hope the wife lets you go toy shopping at your fav LFS. are those compression valves? i was at lowes last night and saw those but didnt understand what purpose they served. why did you decide to get the aqueon tank? i have a few of their smaller tanks but i always figured something 90 or up maybe go for starphire glass.

really looking nice though can't wait to see how it turns out, the overflows are nice too i like them because they leave you with the ability to kind of do island reef scape versus stack it all into a mound
