| To 3Reef!!! Salutations! Glad to see you found way here!
Sorry about anem. Sounds like he may be on way out.
They really do not do well in newer tanks.
Just leave be. Make sure water params are as good as you can make them. And hope for best.

| New person mistake in my book. This is just my opinion but I don't think newbies should ever put an anemone in their tank. Most anemones are difficult to take care of and have requirments (high lighting, flow, etc) that not all people have. They are also hard select a anemone that is healthy. Many are not healthy to begin with and will eventually die in a few months time. Until you are experienced and knwo what to look for you should probably avoid purchasing an anemone.
First off how big is your tank? How much lighting do you have on it (type, power, size)? Give us all the detail...
Also pictures are woth a 1000 words so post some if you can. |

| Well, usually if an animal goes into hiding i would leave it there. They know what's for the better >< Also, my anemone curled up alot before i upgraded my lighting. I read too that they curl themselves up when goin #2.

| welcome to the 3reef. Im sorry to here that youve got some trouble with your bt anemone however it is very early at this stage to realy say what is wrong it needs time to acclimitise to your tank, some wont do well in new tanks and slowly die off however this does not mean that this will be the case with yours.
Ensure your water paramiters are correct and that you also have good lighting and flow.
Try and post a pic and some details of your set up _________ http://www.3reef.com/forums/image.ph...ine=1200113573

| Welcome to 3reef! You need to let the tank run a little longer before you go putting difficult livestock in there. Just remember that most of your LFS will sell you anything to make a sale, and most of them know that your tank will is not ready for it. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)
