mixing aragonite sand with other

    Hi,

    From what I understand, aragonite sand is a buffer that could keep the pH of the water around 8.3. The question is can I use mix aragonite sand with the homedepot sand for the same reason? I was thinking mixing 30 lbs of Caribsea sand with 150 lbs of homedepot play sand. Would there be any problems with that?
