| Sump/Fuge - Project - Getting Started! Here is my my mapping of my 30 gallon sump/fuge project. I still need to rinse the tank good and dry it, but I'll be getting my glass baffles cut today at my local window shop!
I estimate the system will add 22-25 gallons of water to my system and the fuge will hold probable 15-17 gallons. My total system gallons will be approximately 100g as i plan on using the canister filter (carbon only no other media) just as a water mover. Updates to follow!

| what would the purpose of lowering them be though? doesnt make much of a difference, but with higher baffles you will have a larger total volume of water in system, which is good as i believe it.... |

The refug will over flow with water and he'll have a small swimming pool. |

| your flow pattern is that you are going to the p.s. first then the fuge? I thought it was supposed to be the other way around? |

If the system throws another 8-10 gallons into the fuge, I'll be good to go. My OFB has a continuous siphon so when the power restores my OFB will function again. |

My protein skimmer won't match the flow by half so the fuge will still get fed. |
