lol, looks like you were right. Im gonna call up Reefgeek tomarow morning, and tell them to change my bulbs. I orderd the fixture yesterday, so it hasnt gone out yet. My new combo will be:

3) 54W Super Actinic T5 HO Fluorescent
by UV Lighting
3) 54W 10000K AquaSun T5 HO Fluorescent
by UV Lighting

I dont think ill need to put a 6500k or 6000k bulb. Im trying to avoid getting to much yellow. Let me know what you think. I mite have to add a lower k bulb to see the oranger colors though. I want my corals to glow with out having to turn off the daylights. In my nano the daylights over power the actincs.

im going to try and find you a post about the best bulb combination for a 6 bulb unit(i know ive seen one). I think there should be at least a blue+ in that combination

this is what the guy who posted the par numbers usually responds to people who ask him about a 6 bulb setup. The Ati Blue+ bulb will give your corals fluorescence plus alow them to grow better because they have more par.

well at least were on the same page. and yeah, grim does sound like he know his stuff. the combo i found was on the last page. that thread goes on for days, so im just gonna read afew more, and just do it, lol. i do want sps in tank, along with lps, softies and clams. a fully mixed reef, with angelfish, . if you find a better combo please post!! ill take anything right now.
