Tunze 9002 Skimmer review

Awesome skimmer! this 9002 is my second tunze skimmer first one was the 9005. i say awesome because they are work horses, no matter were they are dialed in at they work they aren't fussy. i do think tunze should put a bit more into their casing/ sump kit on the 9005 though. the 9002's casing doesnt seem bad guess because it doesnt have a add on kit. but the 9005 when you add the sump kit constantly falls apart.

 

Yes there one of the best skimmers around. Did you see the video for the Air Mod.

just watched it. your right the air valve on the 9002 is a bit awkward and hard to get to . but i dont think they need to be adjust that much once they are set thats it from what i found with the 9005. if i find the 9002's air adjustment to be a problem i will try this thanks

thanks for sharing..... i'm building a 37 gallon with a 10 gallon sump that thing looks like it would fit perfectly .... would you recommend that skimmer for my size tank??
