Looking for a new skimmer - no microbubbles in tank and quiet

    I have a Remora AquaC hang over tank skimmer (with the surface skimmer box that has a sponge to decrease micro bubbles) but I don't like it because of the noise and micro bubbles that is put back in the tank.

    Now I am looking for a good hang over tank (for a 40 gal) that is quiet and does not put back micro bubbles in the tank. But it must do a good job of skimming.

    Any suggestions?

    You're giving up on the Remora so quickly? I know the bubbles are infuriating at the start, but I have seen far fewer as the months go on and especially now that I've installed the prefilter.
