    How much spread do these have ? Would a 48" magenta-blue cover a 72" tank if mounted 6" above the water ? Or should I go 2- 36" ?

    This is for fish only right?If so I would do 2 36" strips.

    No it's for a reef
    It's in addition to 4 60" t5ho retro fit tek 2 kit I have one purple plus one of the ati 12Ks
    And 2 blues

    I wanted to add a magenta/blue for more pop during the day light cycle of my lights
