I'm setting up my 29g again with my 3b2w BoostLED's the only problem is it's not as blue as I'd like. Therefore, I'm considering buying two 12.5" royal blue stunners or maybe a single 24" stunner.

Big question is, just how bright are these stunners and how much coverage do they provide? The goal is that coral "pop" while the Par 30's are on and an actinic only ability.

I'm not sure if a single 24" across the center of the tank or two 12.5 (centered: one in front and one in back) would be best. I'd really like info from anyone that has experience with these units.

If anyone is famiiar with the Mu 135, that's the actinic blue I'm going for.

I will be following along. I am considering the Ecoxotic stunner strips on my 29g as well.

They seem like the perfect option, but I'd rather hear from others before I drop the cash.

Ahh, I see you took my suggestion! Are you going to go with just the blue? Or are you gonna try the UV too?

I've seen the UV's have gotten some bad reviews so I'm not really sure. I may just go with the 453nm blue 12.5" or 445nm royal blue 24"(dosen't come in 453).

here is a swatch of the colors for all interested:

If you are talking about the square exotics, they only come with the bare minimum. If you wanna go all out its gonna run you about 700-800 dollars. But that was the price here at the LFS.
