Can I put a anemone in my 14g biocube with stock lighting. I think i can get a small Sebae Anemone (that's what I think it was) for $15. Some one told me that i cant put them in my tank because of the lighting. Is there anything i should know about them and will the host my clownfish. and will they kill my coral.

No not under typical 24w PCs. if you upgrade your lights, try an anenome that is a little hardier like a bubble tip, or LTA.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Personally I would not put a Sebae in a 14 gallon. If this is your first anemone start with a small BTA. Sebae are not great shippers, harder to acclimate.

Where are you going to stick the extra 5"? A sabae will grow to 20"+ pretty quick, if it's happy. The 14g biocube is only 15" IIRC. Even a BTA will grow bigger than your tank relatively fast. No typical size nem will fit for more a half year or so in anything under a 30g. There are a few smaller nems such as mini-minis and maxi-minis that will, but you don't have enough light anyways. However, BTAs, LTAs, Sebae etc... will all grow way to big.

You can put a small BTA in under the PC lighting as long as you change out the bulbs routinely like 8-9 months. Like m2434 posted it will take over the tank and out grow it, so if you want a mixed reef tank I would not put an anemone in. If you only want an anemone and a clown or a couple mushrooms it should be fine for a year or so.
