i was moving some coral around in my tank last night, i found this guy under a polyp rock... what is it? is it bad? reef safe? i bought a very large montipora colony, maybe he came from that. never saw anything like this before.
its very squishie, looks like a slug, (thought it was a black mushroom at first), very slow moving.

it looks like a type of nudi branch. Very cool! I think most are reef safe. I'll let others chime in to see if I'm right and if they're reef safe. It's a beautiful color.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It is a Scutus, related to limpets.

They are reef safe as far as I know.
