Ok, so a friend was over yesterday looking around my aquarium and asked me what this thing was. I never noticed it before and it has me curious now, so I took the best picture of it that I could find. Nudi ? Some kind of flat worm ? Good ? Bad ? Any help is appreciated !

Its the thing that looks like the rock in the center of the picture. It has a few spikes / thorn looking things coming off of it.

Lol, I figured it would be hard to see. I cant get a close enough picture to just focus on it. It looks just like the rock to be honest only it has spike coming off of it. I haven't seen it move since it was first pointed out either. I'll see if I can somehow draw a circle around it and re post...

If you draw an "X" from corner to corner of the picture, the center of the x will be in the lower left part of the creature...and on my screen (and in real life) its about the size of a quarter.

Thank you Corailline I will have to check that out. In the mean time, here is the best pic I could come up with....Maybe it's just a group of something growing off the rock ? lol

I know its kinda hard to tell by this picture but this thing is almost flat. Kinda wavy, but not rounded by any means. Most of the stomatella pics I seen have a smoother rounded shell. Maybe I will just pull this rock out, try to move it in the water, or something....

A flat looking worm with spikes? Sounds like a bristleworm

Spikes, not bristle hair clumps lol. I have a couple bristle worms in my tank and this looks nothing like them. If you look in the last pic I posted, you can see several of these spike things.

I will post an image of one of my Stometella, but that almost looks like an Abalone.
