    so ive noticed for awhile now something growing on the back glass, looks pretty firm and is slightly transparent.

    i have it on the back glass where i noticed it first and now it is taking over my powerhead.


    can anyone ID this?

    look like tunicates to me, sea squirts,

    harmless filter feeders if my ID is correct

    Looks like Pineapple Sponge....I have alot of these in my Overflows. Harmless...Good filter feeders.
