What sealant did you use when making your sump. Did you use aquarium specific or just 100% silicone. I know to stay away from kitchen and bathroom due to anti-fungal additives. I plan on using a 30L with fuge on one end, return in middle, and skimmer section on other end. Can I use acrylic for inserts and bond it to glass? Thanks for the help.

I used aquarium silicone. I would use glass baffles. Acrylic baffles can bow and cause the silicone to separate

    100% silicone is fine too.

I went to a glass shop and had them cut. Tempered was about $2 more for each piece, so I got the tempered. If you have a sheet of glass, this video will help you courtesy of rickets reef
