right silicone?

    red devil pro formula, 100% silicone,
    ingredients... silica, ethyl triacetoxysilane as acetic acid, silicone fluid, dibutylin dilurate


    everything I have read says get 100% silicone and you are set, but I think the bottle says not recommended for aquarium use just to CTA

    I'm just using it for baffles in a 15g sump

    I think you would be ok, Im no expert or anything, but any silicone would work fine. I don't see why it wouldn't.

    one baffle in with Caulk smeared all over hell and back! :D

    I am rolling a gamble here... the Japanese Nationals cut my baffles to short so I am using a bit of odd method to fill the gap.

    if it works I'll post.


    this silicone doesnt have a cure time listed.

    give it atleast a week to cure 100% and you should be fine

    personaly i prefer geI or geII silicone without the mold inhibitors for things like this

    as long as you don't use the 100% silicone with anti mold formula your ok.
