| DIY Magnetic PH holder I was tired of picking up the PH from the bottom of my tank cause those darn suction cups never hold worth the rubber they are made of . A couple months ago i saw a magnetic PH holder for the maxi jet. that gave me an idea. Couple days ago i went to one of my LFS and saw this crappy cheap magnet glass cleaner. So for 6 bucks i picked it up and here is what i did with it.
The magnetic glass cleaner
A little sillicon on a powerhead
Stick the magnet cleaner on there
And there you go
They had different sized cleaners so i will go pick up some bigger ones for my 2 other PH. But for $6 it does a great job.

| Thanks for the great idea Marc! I had an old one sitting around and i tried this method on a PH that the suction cups were always failing to hold and it works like a charm! I ended up tying on the PH with fishing string instead of Silicone just bc i had it sitting around and didnt have to wait for it to dry.
Thanks again!
Cheers! |
