    Condensed a DIY project from my newbie thread, so i could post updates in a more appropriate place.

    Stand was DIY. Notice with tank empty that the doors in center have a larger gap at top, i just couldn't get those doors to hang correctly, however Neptune shined on me! In the last photo you will see that after the stand compresses under the weight of the water that the gap evened out perfectly.

    had to get a new skimmer, the other one was worth what i paid for which was nothing.
    this skimmer seems to be working very well produces very wet skim right now, as stated by manufaturer. they say it will become more dry as it dials in.
    i had to build a box for it to sit on as my sump was to deep so i figured i'd make it into a buble trap, it works well for the big bubbles but i still have alot of micro's we'll see if that goes away in the next few weeks. if not i'll modify the box some more till it works correctly. the skimmer is still producing lots of micros.
