Hi everyone, been a long time since I have posted here. Everything has been great until I changed jobs. I will be honest, a lot of laziness came into play. I let my tank go. It got horrible. Aptasia..Mojave...Cyano...etc...
Tried to get it back with no hope. SO I have decided to do a complete re-start on my 150. I will post step by step pics and results to hopefully help anyone thinking of doing this. The first step is to remove enough rock, and throw it into a 55 gal can of bleach with a powerhead. I have 280 lbs in my tank. Stay tuned.

So (obviously) after you had the tank cleared out of livestock, you just dumped beach in the whole system with the "livesand"? Sorry it looked like it from the pictures, I was just curious, as I've never seen this done before with at least it functioning as a normal tank with water and sand/equipment still.

Are there any changes your going to be doing with the tank from last time?
