If you are shipping next day it will be expensive. If you are just buying dry goods then someone is trying to screw you.

Order from Drs Foster and Smith if you can.

They pretty much have everything you need.

Shipping is based on total price of order.

Great for ordering salt and other heavy items.

Often you can find discount codes here, which will save you extra money...(none there today...:-/ - but always worth checking)

    Good Luck!

Some places will have a deal on free shipping over a certain amount of cash. Online is only good if you are purchasing enough livestock to make up the shipping. That's the reason LFS is expensive.. they're shipping it too and then mark up.

For Snails, crabs and other small items I order from Sea Life Inc. Great prices, nice selection and will ship most inverts and some corals USPS priority for $12 bucks. Never lost a single item when ordering from them.

Foster and Smith's E-tropicals has free shipping on any reef cleaner order of 60 and over. Also has nice stuff, a bit more pricey but they have a little bit better selection. And it doesn't take long to reach $60.

And on top of that they add even more to cover thier livestock losses, which depending on what store it is can be a huge amount.
