| Cheap Food!!! Re Post: Variety is the spice of life...
Made a real haul at the market today, while shopping for my frozen fish food needs.
Instead of earlier charging me by the piece price...store manager gave me some of "everything" for "scrap" price of $.99 lb. (did have to promise him pic of tank, I guess to prove I was not making cracker dip or somesuch for self - )
Fresh:
Salmon
Halibut
Shrimp
Squid
Octopus
Scollop
Added:
Nori
Broccoli
Garlic
Enough to last me 3+ months.
Can't even begin to compare how much cheaper then buying commercial frozen fish food mix. _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)
12 Gallon NanoCube - 24w stock PC 50/50 light "...nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank, only bad things happen fast..."

| ug, the thought of the smell alone while chopping it up is enough to get me to the LFS.
I can't imagine mine eating that though.
Good extra mile though, kudos.

Seriously, After your last post regarding DIY food, I tried !it also. How do you determine when it's chopped enough? With a food processor, one second it's solid, next thing you know it's mush |
