I received this about 9 days ago from a website and it never opened up and looked sick since the start. You can see in the photos that some of the tentacles have fallen off. I just tested my water for ammonia and it's at .25, I have it in my display as thats the only tank I have.

Pretty close to dead, doubt it'll come back, but it may. Sorry for your loss.:( How long has the tank been set up that you're still reading for ammonia?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It's toast.

Take an image of it and send it to the distributor.

Elegance corals quickly fall victim to bacterial infections during transport. Even small tears in their delicate tissue are serious.

I would remove it to prevent a further increase in your ammonia levels as it's just decaying now.

Ok thanks for the advice, I already sent in pictures to the website, just wanted to make sure it was dead before I removed it since I currently don't have a quarintine or extra tank to put in in to see if it will make a recovery.
